When people tell me I am stagnant in my growth,
I look at them in shame,
What a shame it is that they cannot recognise my truth,
That despite everything I have been through,
this river of my liver, has never been stagnant,
Despite the pain being very consistent,
My mechanisms and techniques of coping have become more efficient,
I am realising more,
I am feeling more,
I am unboxing all the parts of me that were put away,
Analysing them, trying to reconstruct them and set them free
What a shame it is that I live within 2 cultures that find themselves boxing off humans
Find themselves shaming us young people, and making sure that is instilled from a young age,
I have found myself deconstructing myself, and finally realising how bad they have made me
Shame, Embarassment, Silence, Abuse, Fear, To Lie, To keep Secrets, To Hide, To never Trust in those who you Love, To survive, to feel Guilt
I am a young girl, who has had every part of her wavered
I am deboxing, defunking, deconstructing every part of me
When I am done,, and as I am doing,, I am flourishing.,
