Oh Beautiful One,
Why do you taint yourself in ways that leaves scars?
Why do you play with fire knowing that it will burn?
Don’t you know that Light cries at your feet
Every step you place on the Beloved ground
Every time you whisper sweet nothings to the flowers
New roots climb through the soil
The first hit of moisture, air, and light
Stems start to grow,
In hope of gaining blessings from the Sun
to fire through and complete the formation
Petals form, closed up,
At the first sight of summer
In celebration of the Power of the Star and the Moon
An ellipse of heaven is broken open
The doors of heavens open,
The flower blooms.
Oh beautiful one,
Why do you taint yourself in ways that leaves scars?
Why do you play with fire knowing it will burn?
Winter approaching
Autumn leaves crunching under the feet of children
The regeneration of the earth begins
Nutrients feeding back into the soil that once grew the tree with nothing
I go into hibernation in the latter part of the year
My body wants to preserve and hold onto anything,…
Unfinished..
