embrace me with open chest,
the sun and its friends are out to play,
working a rhythm into my skin,
kneading away at bruises,
enough for public function,
putative smiles for the satisfaction of others,
but now,
now they are real,
light melting my tongue,
dripping far and wide,
sunlight accepts me whole,
this is my garden,
and I am growing fruitful plants,
blooming from a ground that has patches of damaged oranges,
while some soil lays unripe,
olives are said to be heavens fruit,
that grapes will produce wine that will flow in rivers,
I am living a beautiful yet tragic reality,
creation truly tests those with death and pain,
the death of those who still live, and those who have gone,
I am now channeling both resent and beauty,
my heart is molested,
been touched in the wrong ways,
too early, never too late to continue,
seems this plum of mine never stops beating or being beaten,
always tested in madness,
sometimes sweet, sometimes sour,
her death has made me reconsider my life,
this journey is amicable,
chains once used to lay on my arms and legs,
I forget how I was forced behind closed doors,
a house made of torture tools,
I then remember that I lived through what I did,
nobody knows or wants to know,
of the story of the girl who smiles so elegantly,
warrior skin ,
muddy water now approaching
even when rising I put it to rest,
I have the power of turning evil into light,
transgression of power and enemy,
master of alchemy
