Time Capsule

transcendent,
complacent,
a race against time,
these captured molecules, capsules of time,
days? weeks? will I wait? wake?
the awakening of death,
muted at the mouth, tears,
she just lays there, eyes closed,
I am losing the closest thing to my being,
to my simmering blood,
it will be all over after this,
the creation of Ameera,
of Malanghi,
she will begin all over, from the mud that made her,
the soul will fire,
from the drop of blood
I am tired,
cannot leave, will not leave her side,
to watch the death of my only love.

but the tears have stopped,
gently waiting,
for the gushing of spring.
the sea blessing us,
rebirthing us,
I will grow.
