Timetravel could reverse time,
could undo the knots in my brain,
to make myself understand on what magnitude of a loss I have experienced,
the dimensions would have to be measured in grief, in my emptiness,
How my insides are plagued in forlornness,
Felt as if umbilical cords were misplaced,
And maybe you were meant to be my mother,
A woman hoisted amongst stories of past and future,
Drinking chai as flowers grew around her,
A garden of Eden within her own home,
A Woman of Heaven,
A Sorcerer in her own right,
Light bled from her into me as she died,
As if bleeding was a prayer,
Now the light sings through me,
Until my time is up,
She created a harmonic trance for sufferers,
Or maybe it was just me that fell into a hypnotic state,
She was a Cave where I would find solace in,
Would go rest for a few days under her wings,
Her silk feathers, etched with embroidary of the quran knitted into it,
Water blessed in prayers,
O Jaane Jaan,
I long to find the love that was emptied when you left,
Maybe God will fill it up,
A year has passed since you left the world
Snow fell last year from the sky,
As if your purity discharged into the heavens,
This year the sun bleached the sky as I observed your death,
You underground,
Me above ground,
wishing to fall under.
