There would be a star,
A single man in a desert,
and you would be the Oasis,
You would be the light, the laughter,
The one like the Prophet,
You would be the heart of gold,
The one that stands for good,
Never lying,
always praying,
I say would,
As if you are not,
Yet you are,
and a thousand times more,
You were the Star under the sky,
When it fell black,
When the thunderstorm ran across our lives,
You bought the heart into home,
You never left,
You welcomed me into your house,
as if it was my own,
Constantly reminding me that I was your daughter,
There was no difference between your children and us,
The loyalty we have for you can never be questioned,
It is just, it is set in stone,
It is hard to erase when your uncle becomes your second Dad,
and takes you to the holiest places in the World,
Even in illness,
Even in Death,
Your concern is others,
We are the repercussion of the Good in you,
The balance,
The only good left in the name of Razaks,
The heavenly one,
The One deserving of golden caskets,
and miles of Jannah,
The one we will sing about,
We say that when Daddy died the house changed,
But that will be a lie,
For if you go,
Then surely there will be an earthquake amongst up,
Craters could not surmount to measure the damage,
No amount of glue could fix the emptiness,
You are a Walking Mosque,
An Oasis,
A temple we could enter,
When there was only floods outside.
