This Grief has Consumed me Whole

all this Grief,
all this Sadness Spilling out of me like Water,
These drops of tears,
In all their green and Blue,
In all their Papaya kisses,
Their Seeds dripping from their Centre,
Purging me,

Water dripping,
Releasing itself into the Waters that I bathe in,
These Lagoons which cleanse me,
These Tears, washing me,
Whilst I lay here alone under the Sun,
Unwinding myself into the branches that hold me,
These Mangroves,
A Home I’ve found myself in.

I release whilst I finally can take some Breaths,
Whilst I inhale,
and Exhale the Sadness?

What is Family?

and why does this Hurt still burn me, like it did the first time?
