In a flurry of autumn and winter
As the leaves came swinging down to the earth once again
To give nourishment to roots,
My own womb came full circle
My womb bled as if the pain was back,
Dreams formed a signature in my eyes,
Signed and dated the same day over and over
Made me relive the moments of grief,
Now I can’t get them out of my head,
Escape is not what the goal was or is,
The goal is to process and transition,
Choice is an option,
To inhibit choice is to inhibit a right
My rights were taken from me time and time again,
I ensured my body would always be mine
But yet here we are,,
Dreaming about them using their mouths as tools,
I lay slaughtered waking up at 4,
In disbelief I have returned,
As winter turned over,
I lay embraced in the arms of a lotus flower,
White, virgin, the sun
Snow covering my feet,
As the light beats over my head,
This light holds healing,
I will never go back,
There is no reason to return anymore,
My light has left me,
Only almonds soaked in milk lay waiting on her bedside table..
