a growing hunger,
like that of a planet to its moon,
how it orbits to in tune to one another,
the way it awaits its decades to finally meet in a solar eclipse,
a rare occasion,
a fighting hunger,
of a daughter wanting her mother,
when she knows it will never be,
of being defeated and learning that it will never change,
that one day once it is all laid and done over grave,
maybe we will cry for each other,
the tears watering the plants over gravestone,
but maybe they will not come out wilted,
maybe they will be bloom,
a joyous hunger,
in celebration,
for what has been felt in heart,
of which has not been felt in years,
in which there is a replacement of calamity to creation.
where no darkness sleeps,
only lingers to encourage you,
to remind you to never to return,
a ferocious hunger,
now entirely growing,
engulfing my insides,
a beast inside me,
hungry,
for life,
for love,
for more.
