Creators.

Tredding on dirty water,
troubled water which sits in dark venom,
with snakes that come to the surface to worship the sinners feet,
You ever felt like you’ve done wrong?
You ever been to the pits of hell,
gave your heart to the ground, put your forehead to the ground,
Screamed at God?
Screamed at the Universe for all its wrongdoings?
But then I look at myself, ask myself “am I ungrateful?”
Was it me this whole time,
Did I do this?
Did I make this tragic mess of a life through my own bitterness?

I wish my art had words,
I wish I could cement up the lost time,
Put it in a coffin and say grace over it at dinner time,
Taste the coffee grains slide across my tongue
Running down my throat like a whirlpool,
Try to hit the spot of rush,
I feel as though we worship time,
we work around it, we organise wholes lives around seconds, and minutes and hours
days turn to years,
years turn into light  years,
we are just finite human beings,
a Race against time will I ever be good enough
Will the Moon take me up when its my time?
Have we studied the sky enough?
Have we explored our bodies enough?

Magical creatures we are,
Aliens we are,
Ghastly humanoids we are.
We are CREATORS.
