Denial of thy Father

Denial

your breath left

your skin faded in colour

your soul fled to the skies

The house became empty

we became shattered

blood weeped from our eyes

throwing flowers at your grave

you just left

body embedded in soil

stars prayed for you

we became lost

I search for you everywhere

dreams dreams dreams

But I understand it was your time

and The Lord has plans for you

and I understand this concept of life and death

but I will never stop missing you

they say they’ve never seen someone mourn for so long

well how can you, when you’re still in denial

How can you just forget?

How do they just forget?

That you were walking just yesterday

There was nothing wrong with you

There was nothing wrong with you

Kismet they say. Kismet.

It happened so fast.

I can see you sometimes

I relive the moments where you sat

I can see you

I have sabr,

I do.

I wouldn’t be here if I didn’t

But how can I just forget you
