filter the blood
the good the bad
filter through the dark
through the light,
rejuvenate what was once so unholy
make it clean
make it clean again, once more
make what was once so unholy
all new, bare so bare,
the untouched minds of young ones leaves you frightened
how dare their ink stained hands
leave marks upon my tapestry
rich clots of blood lay splattered
I once understood what love was
before I found out it destroyed people
I once believed in hope,
learning not only does it save lives, but also kills
cleaning the drawers of my mind, I find a garden
a garden which grew flowers so tall they had flooded my eyes
sunshine from the sunflowers brimmed my eyes
a place where sadness resides, tears form like raindrops flood the sea
a garden where the grass grew so green
never a day without sunshine,
lead to an eternity of darknes
