for every tear i’ve shed for you,
a flower grows, over your grave,
I guess theirs fields of them now,
fields of sunflowers, and bonsai tree’s just for you,
and when the rain beats down,
I guess its just blessings pouring from the sky,
over you, to wash over the plants, to wash any sin,
to replace flowers that may have wilted,
I paint you in flowers, everything luminsce,
are you ominiscient now?
do you see me? do you know how my heart wrenches?
I try to stop myself, when I catch myself remembering you might catch me here
in this moment, nearly everyday,
tears flooding,
breaking doors I thought i’d already broken,
flickers of memories, faces that remind me of you,
here I am, a young fierce fiery lady.
your grave must me covered,
in a field of flowers by now,
I stop the tears,
I snap out of it,
I smile and I try to help people around me,
we live in very troubling times father,
our presence and what we do for people can change lives,
my God do we live in troubled times.
