the eclipse shifted the fluid inside me,
bought up emotions that had been in hiding,
frothing at the mouth,
while the snow painted the city in white,
Every tear that shed froze,
Time that had been on a pause began snowballing,
gaining strength as it grew bigger,
I on the other hand have been collapsing,
as if I have began to slowly deflate
a baloon like state, with wilted shallow skin,
All I want to be by is the water,
Heat needs to plague my body and remain there,
let me baptise myself into a new person,
All this agitation in my flesh has led me to run into a frenzy,
everytime a needle pierces my skin, its as if a few months of trauma are released,
and I forget that this is all healing work?
I forget that there are years of emotion embedded into my skin,
my spine a treasurer for all things broken,
one prick or slip and the floodgates open,
I become a basket of sorrows and roses on funerals,
in times like this I only want my father,
a man who is furthest from me in physical realm,
furthest from me in land and ocean,
underground,
I am sure he has built himself a cave to hide from my calls,
But my daddy always shows up when I need him, \
but only when I really need him..
