Blossoms ink the sky as if water colour
My eyes in all their red and earth observe the display of intricacies the clouds make
How they milk into one another forming shakes, creamy topped with cherries,
Candyfloss drapes the evening as sunset dawn’s
The sun in its graceful dance towards the moon
How they sing to one another, day in, night out,
There is so much depth in the darkness and in the white,
Coconut shells and their husks,
Tough like my internal skin seem to heave through the heat,
The sun playing piano on my skin as sweat drips off,
How the might of the Universe led my life to be exterminated early.
My face is carved from my tears,
My hair constantly cries
The beauty in I is changing,
Who is really the ugly one ?
It seems I
Have feasted on myself for too long
Eaten this story over and over
I have become sick
One day
I will wake up
With pearls for eyes ,
Skin glowing in gold,
My jet black hair in thick coarse fight,
With lips and red as roses,
With flowers flowing from tongue,
Life brewing at my feet,
Hands that can carve and form art from mere touch,
A heart that’s stopped bleeding.
I wish to live.
