Laced my drink with poison
With pretty pink things
Making me delusional, making me free
mental slavery gone,
but now enslaved by a person
Their rules, their book to abide by
No second guessing what is next
You follow, never learn,
Never understanding why
Accept it child,
this is how it is, you are just disrespectful
Spat in the face by elders
Oh you do not know
What its like
to have your drink laced with poison
To have what is yours taken away from you
What you own, stolen from you
To have your heart submerged within a fountain of pain
to have it plunged into fire
pulling at your lungs
pulling at your core
Laced my eyes with mysteries
These orbs hold stories only God will know of
gleaming in green and gold
I find myself hurling every time I see horror
Dark as the darkest nights
I see stars as Light Houses
ferocious oceans up above that are Galaxies
when I thought all I had was God
Laced my lips with secrets
Learnt another language
to speak in tongue
to hide the truth
my voice choking on my own throat
screaming, gasping for air
wheezing for life
