the crypts of my body are sworn open,
I have been awoken,
By a lover who cannot speak,
Mouth sworn shut,
Eyes that speak several languages,
Fervor from the irises alone,
Eye gazing could become a sport if we let it be,
Accents in every tongue,
Maybe, he is spoken for,
Yet he dances in a fire which I am protecting him from,
I have placed gates,
To withstand this desire,
To hold myself from the taste of his skin,
from embracing his masculine,
Seems I am watching myself unfold in front of him,
Like tissue paper unravelling,
There is a softening in my heart,
for the first time in months,
My chest replaced by cushions,
Maybe this is naievity,
Fantasy
a Delusion,
But now there is no door heavy enough to close this gaping in my chest,
I desire him,
but not for the colour in his melanin,
His gold, brown, and yellow,
nor for the texture of his flesh,
have yet to touch his hands,
I crave his source,
the essence of all that is He,
and all that is I,
Discover him like I have spent the last years discovering myself,
But,
The truth will never be spoken,
We are silent lovers,
I am doing all I can to not be selfish,
To do whats best for him,
But I realise,
Whilst doing right,
I have become wrong,
He has created a knot out of me,
Weaved me into oblivion,
while I observed, and stayed reserved,
Our cyptic tongues now a maze,
A jail cell,
I speak truth and he begins to pick locks,
attempting to undo the silence
I will wait,
until the time has come to leave,
and I will gift him my zeal and love,
While I set sail,
to the sea,
and into my death.
Maybe on my return,
We will reunite,
Or maybe this be nothing
A story,
A sin
Of how a man awoke the fire inside a wolf
Only to leave her dormant
