to forgive amongst lies,
is like planting seeds in waters that do cannot grow any form of plant,
not even the strongest of plants can resist the harshest of weathers,
when soil is malnourished and not loved,
it becomes deprived in its necessities,
in its true form,
everything in its true form, deep down, stems from love,
even the hardest of hearts have a pulsating melting pot of flesh,
it may be covered in ash and hard armour,
but those barriers are usually only there to protect,
to forgive amongst heartbreak,
when you don´t believe is a summers evening,
where vowels are spun from mouths,
like wool,
they start to unrvavel from one tug,
a story of lies starts to froth out of mouth like candy floss,
pink like salmon,
to forgive,
is to wish to love,
when there is little love left,
or one half desires the other more,
to not forgive,
is to know your insides,
to know it as equally as God himself,
to know that enough is enough,
to know that once the ground has engulfed you whole,
that there will be no lover or souls to pray over your grave,
that when you lay at night eyes wide open,
hoping a miracle will come to end you,
that no hand will come and rest upon yours,
that there will be no singing in your ears from lips that carress your cheek,
not even a mother will bring fourth milk or honey to ease the wildfire,
instead
you are left with yourself,
you forgive yourself,
for repeatdly pounding on your own heart,
with the wrong expectations
of lovers and love,
Because you were only a child when you began being abused,
So you find yourself singing into the wrong wells,
Rationally,
Unrationally,
Finding boulders in your back even once you thought you released them
