Water Purges pain out of my Eyes,
My Body Limp, tired from all this Inner Work,
In Grief, the Water heavy from taking on my Memory,
I begin to Remember,
The Pause has Come,
I am finally out of Survival
But Now the Work Begins,
Memories unpacking their Suitcases,
Opening up whole periods of Time,
a Time where all there was, was Calamity
A Suffering where every atom in the Room would feel the Fear,
Would hold its tongue, and squeeze tightly, Hiding,
Hiding,
for the Cuts that came from the Constant Assault were Deep,
and the Blood that came from the Violence,
Was smeared across every centimetre of the Walls,
Not a spot of White Wallpaper was missed,
She would set alight even the most innocent parts of you,
The Air was soaked in Pain, in Dismay,
The Confusion of a Lifetime
Whole Hours, Days, Minutes, Seconds, Years, Weeks,
Moments, eaten up through the Fear of Being Killed.
I am now Carrying the Hurse of my Dead Body,
Hoisted the Coffin upon my Shoulders,
whilst there are Aggressions continuously Firing Around Me,
Memories are pouring out of Me,
I am having to Revisit my Past,
Meet with the Girl that Got Out.
The One that Never thought she Would.
The One that Loved them.
I am Crying,
Whilst Cloaked.
