These days I am silent,
Observing from corners, windows, and shadows,
Smiling,
I have been trying for weeks now,
Not to utter bad words upon my surroundings,
My mood shifts and I am relieved,
I attempt to fix, attempt to adjust, to cut, to move,
I begin to flow into the waters that surround me,
Shifting with the winds as the seasons change,
Observing the leaves as they fall from green to brown,
But then the body releases pain,
Almost as if lightening has struck across my eye,
Every nerve behind my eyeball strained,
I find the left side of my head in agony,
It appears out of nowhere,
Like it has done for the past 18 years,
As before I wish to hide in darkness,
I sit,
And I smile,
Wondering how others would react if they knew what was occurring,
Tired of hearing the same words that repeat on my tongue, ,
So now I remain silenced,
Just like my Womb,
Pretend it doesn’t hurt,
While the left side of my head bleeds,
All that I am left with,
Is a mouth full of teeth,
With Cotton wool for ears,
And a body that is weaker than any new born,
I wonder what I did to deserve such vehicle,
A vessel which struggles to contain me and my insides,
The day will come when it will end,
And I will find relief in this mess of flesh and bones and genetics
