Pandemonium

Pandemonium,

I have not stopped weeping,

for days now,

Wailing, praying, begging,

The portal of grief has reopened,

The gates gaping,

I cannot explain to onlookers why my eyes have emptied,

I try to merge with the walls,

Pretend my eyes aren’t blood red,

I try cracking a smile,

Minutes later I am gushing from the eyes again,

I cannot bring to the table,

My dead body for them to show,

The dying carcass that I carry,

I have tried to cut ties,

Been healing, been curating, been morphing,

I have been evolving,

Yet I have a destroyed soul,

Trying to make amends in my dreams,

I am grieving again,

I am impotent,

Paralyzed.
