my body hangs off my skeleton,
like a hanger,
limp,
my eyes a little drooped,
with no colour inside them, glazed,
Spirit not present, trying to find a home elsewhere,
love seems to have opened up a portal of grief,
intertwined with roses in place of my heart,
a black hole suddenly appears,
and I am thrown in,
Other days I am a fountain of hope,
the inner wolf awakened inside of me,
salvating from the mouth,
my hair rocketing,
billowing against the elements,
I begin holding constellations between my organs,
My chest suddenly ignites, and the soul starts to burn again,
Spirit returns, and they begin calling me a Witch,
my walnut eyes dart in effort to find peace,
They try to make me tidy, cut my tongue,
morph it into candy floss, sweeter,
want all the straight edges,
try to make a box out of me,
for the wild in me is too much,
my body an abomination,
my curiosity too feral, too untamed,
Hips moving the way cursives are found upon holy scripture,
a mind that will never really be understood,
I find rest underneath trees,
I am now the river beneath rivers,
a wolf woman, a wild woman
and I dare you to try fish me out.
