The Rivers of Babylon

For the Rivers of Babylon,
And those of Punjab,
Streaming into Flowing ever Eternal stream,
These are the Calm Waters ,
The fluttering wings of butterflies,
How they too even Flirt with the Flowers they suck Nectar from,
Most forget the Teachings that are Visible to all of us,
From the Life force which appears in the Eyes of Loved Ones,
I am most Observant always,
Mesmerised by the intricacies of Movements, the use of Language, how they Laugh,
Their own unique set of Ways,
Humbled I am, by those I let into my Life,
The Trees, the flowers, and the Birds are the joys of my Days,
The water gifting me what it has gifted me time and time again,
Cleansing,
Like Wudu,
Yet all I do is Watch,
A Wudu for the Eyes,
For all I See is Burning,
A time to wash away my burdens,
To take away the Fires of my Difficulties,
The Water burns away the Negativity ,
The Body becomes sealed with Protection,
God wants to come sit upon his Throne,
Impurities engulfed by the Water,
So Body becomes Afresh,
Anew,
Like Silver,
The Almighty lays his Prayers unto Me.
I Live them.

Today I watched the layers of Water,
In its weaving of Waves,
How Many make up the Vast Ocean,
How within this Vessel, holds but a Kingdom of Humanity,
How beneath the surface,
Lies a Lake,
of Love,
Leaking,
into my Soul.
