They Don’t Care About Us

They Don’t care about Us,
Brown and Black Bodies Bleeding,
Burning, Dripping across your Screens,
Your eyes dehumanised,
Your Eyes Unseeing the Pain in which we carry,
In these Bones, in these shattered Pieces of our Being,
Our Skeleton heavy from carrying the Blood they kill us in,
Our Bodies dirtied in Your Name,
Our Bodies mutilated from Your Demand for Corruption,
From the Hunger of Paper,
For the Feeding of the System,
A system which is in Famine,

Brown Body Burning,
Your Inability to See Us as Human,
Fellow Flesh covered Soul,
Our Lives don’t Matter.
Thats what you Tell Us.

Everyday we Wake up,
With this Aggression painted across our Bodies.
In every way Robbed and Looted of everything that Makes Us,
Our Culture, something you Have Not,
Never,
Culture ridden in Rats, Pigs, and the Shit that comes from the Dirtiest,
The Most Vulgar, the Most Unforgiving,
Your Faces painted in Sin,
God will,
God Will,
We Let God,

For in this World,
We are not the Same.
We never will be the Same,
because we could Never Kill.

You would Slaughter even our Sinless Babies,
Our Beloved Men,
Our Divine Women,
Our Curated Homes.

My Body drowning in a Grief,
I can’t Explain,
No words could capitulate this Sorrow,
This Ache I cannot Unfeel,
This Harm that has Damaged even the Strength in my Bones,
This Wound that has found itself in my Epidermis,
My Whole Body has been inked with this Aggression,
This Belligerence against Soul,
The edges of my Body,
Lingering. in the Grief of the Daily Killings,
Of Brown Body bleeding,
Not even the Grave has Respect,
Even in Our Death,
You Mutilate Us,
Pigs is a Word Insufficient,
For they still don’t Kill,

My Words struggle to Resist,

My Being is drowning in this Sorrow,
We are Trying to Fight,
The Repeated Story of our People.
Inked in a sadness I don’t think this life could Heal.
