Vivid

There is an acquaintance of Luminosity
the Flirt has arrived,
She has been brewing in blood,
Her playground of play,
my Rooh*

Despite this flowing,
There are days where it takes the whole of me,
where I am faced with bones of racism,
I notice the weight it takes to carry the colour in my skin,
to wear the Smile through their insults, in ignorance,
knowing I will never be the same as them,
the harshness on the edges of my day,
those that I dismiss daily,
built within the core of this city,
like a plague growing,

Then there is Them,
Who come with their mountains of drama,
the hills full of critics, control, manipulation,
that tangle me into webs of confusion,
of instability,
a place too foreign to me,
where I chase the untangible,
Of where I swore I would never go back to,
never wish it upon anybody,
the hell I cannot unsee,
a place, where I cannot be home,
Encapsulated within this, there is the weight of my Womanhood
The sorrows in which comes from being born a Lady,
the threat to culture,
the insult to nature for simply being,

So I beautify my soul more, as a rebellion to their injustices,
no matter, how deep the burns it takes to my Wings,
It takes the whole of me,
Picking up the thickest of leathers, and feathers,
to Patchwork a cloak of strength,
In my Ama’s name,
to stand on the ground that I do,
for the face of freedom,
unknown to even myself,
whilst still unraveling shackles from my limbs,
and bearing the scorched skin,

I,
with the whole of me,
with the truth, justice, and with my father’s name,
choose for myself,
Peace,
in the name of Allah,
I choose to exist in the state of  ‘As-Salam‘ I begin with,
With the ‘Bismillah‘, that rolls off my tongue,
for the inner of me is sweet enough,
to choose Love,
because Al-Wadood is understanding,,
and Ghaffar was my way to See out of this pain,
To get a glimpse of His Beauty,
the mycelium of bound Universal connection,
weaved between ecstasy and the pits of pain,
The veil was dropped from my eyes,
like a curtain crashing at the end of a performance,
and what a Masterpiece was revealed to me,
The effervescent fragility of His Magnificence,
this evergrowing, ever fruitful, forever giving,
World,

I choose to stand in my love,
for God loves Orphans,
and who am I to deny myself of this Gift,
That whilst finding myself, I found Him,

Maulvi Haider Hassan Vehranwale says:
Mehrem mujhe bas teri justaju hai,
Tu khud aaina sa mere rubaru hai,
Tujhe jab ke dhoonda nazar aap aaya,
Aajan tuujh me main hoon, niha mujh mein tu hai
Dekh le shakl meri kis ka aaina hoon main
Yaar ki shakl hoon aur yaar mein fanaa hoon main ***

Some days it really takes the whole of Me,
to Just Be.

DECAPITATION love has decapitated me over and overand rebuilt me,to be the Sun that glows, more brightly than any other Star,

Mad Woman

and god knows how the pink parts of me, the parts that make up my skin. The epithelial layer of

the Whales came.
