Womb Speak

I laid in the water today,
allowed myself to look at myself in a new light,
I apologised to my body for all the times I threw sin at it,
I apologised for all the  curses I spoke upon it,
I apologised for the family for hurting my skin,
I spoke to my womb today,
While submerged under water and salt,
I lay there in all my golden and brown,
I spoke to her and told her how beautiful she was,
How she didn’t deserve the treatment of the world,
How she doesn’t deserve what I ingest,
I apologised to her about what I feed her,
Told her I will never hurt her again,
Under water today,
I had a rebirth,
Though she didn’t speak back to me,
I will show her that noone will ever hurt her this much,
That I am taking back my body,
Limb by limb,
I will reignite into the ever growing Goddess under Maat’s Light,
I will find myself under Supreme Power as my guidance,
I will cleanse my womb of all that hurt me,
I cannot believe the one who had birthed me hurt me so much,
so much somy body tried to collapse into itself,
and maybe she is broken too,
She has been on my mind alot recently, how she and the others had their lives stolen from them as children,
She had her childhood taken from her,
but then why did she beat us so much? Why was the torture so fun to her?
Didn’t the hospital trips scare her? Why didn’t she ever feed us?
but alas,
I am taking back my body that she once so deeply hated,
I am ready to move.
